Staff Reporter

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National vice-president and in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Vinay Sahasrabuddhe while making a statement over the death of a person in a queue for exchanging the money in front of a bank, said that people also die in the queues of ration.

However, Sahasrabuddhe later said that arrangements would be made in order to prevent this kind of incidents in future. While talking to the media persons at the residence of Minister of State for Public Relations, Narottam Mishra on Monday Sahasrabuddhe said that the whole country is struggling against the black money. People of the country should tolerate some problems for the country.

This is not only a lawful decision but it is also a public agitation against the black money.

He called upon his party workers to help those in the long queues in front of the banks or ATMs.

Notably, the currency notes of `500 and `1000 were abolished by the union government on November 8. Several people have died in the country so far, while being in the queue, for exchanging the scrapped currency notes of `500 and `1000 in front of a bank. People of the state remained troubled as long serpentine queues could be seen in front of all the ATMs, banks and post offices.

Sahasrabuddhe added that people are working in hurry in order to exchange their currency notes but the people should relax as there is plenty of time to exchange their money. He also informed that even after the last date, people would be able to get their notes exchanged by giving valid reasons.
