This song is for all seasons, just like love”, says a young singer Peddy Jey. Peddy Jey, young, confident, powerhouse singer talks about his first single Tum Mil Gaye which released on Tuesday. The song is written by Emptiness fame Aseem Ahmed Abbasi and video is crafted by Bharadwaj Films, the audio is on biscoot bajao and it is produced by Sky Dreamz Entertainment.
With no formal training in music but still having done almost 100 stage shows across the country, Peddy Jey is all set to make his presence felt in the world of music coming up with his first single Tum Mil Gaye.
Hailing from the city of lakes, Peddy Jey, talks about his journey to The Pioneer, “I come from Bhopal and it’s been long I am here in Mumbai and tested my luck in this city.” Elaborating further he said, “I never emphasised on taking singing lessons but I did stage shows and sang for the love of it and was pretty confident so I decided to take up singing as my profession and so here I am with my very first single.”
Talking further about the single, Peddy mentions, “Tum Mil Gaye is a romantic song. This is about the first feel of love.” Elaborating more about it, he says, “As I was composing this song Tum Mil Gaye, I was much clear about the concept and how I have to go about it. The concept is all about expressing love and feeling the same in return,” he further added.
“I had faced many apprehensions about having a singing career but you only need confidence which coaxed me to take up singing. This is just a beginning.”
Being a theatre artiste having played varied characters and doing Telegu films, Peddy is much confident about the response of his first single on YouTube.
