Students of Patel Group of Institution visited Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO) here on Wednesday and got acquainted with the techniques of space research.
During the visit at ISRO, the students were not only made aware about the basic facts but they also learnt about the researches so far. It is noteworthy that the students of Electronics and Communication branch, 7th semester visited the ISRO campus.
During the visit, the experts told them about the history and origin of ISRO. The students began their visit by reviewing all the branches os ISRO. Then the students were taken to each department and were told about each department in details.
The students then had a close look at the models of Earth Station, Server System and Satellites. Also through video lectures the experts told the students about various facts of science and about its researches. The students also learnt about ISRO foundation and its various branches. Also how the work is being carried out at each ISRO branch was told to the students.
The students were then taught about satellites. They got to know about satellites in details and its working procedure.
The students also get to know that how far satellites are helpful and how do it receives and sends messages. During the visit, director of college Gyanendra Singh was also present.
