Television actress Paridhi Sharma talked about the special mother-daughter relationship depicted in ongoing show ‘Patiala Babes’. Paridhi Sharma was in Bhopal on Thursday. She talked about her character and the ongoing serial.
Paridhi is portraying the character of Babita Kapoor aka Babes.
While talking to the media persons, she said that set against the backdrop of Punjab, Babita a.k.a. Babes, is an ideal home-maker who feels everything is perfect in her life. But is it really true or is she living a life of denial?
“Babes, who usually forgets her own self, her aspirations and her dreams, whilst managing her relationships, draws strength from her daughter, Mini. On the other hand, her daughter Mini, an enterprising teenager, is wise beyond her age and always looks out for Babes and encourages her to try new things”, she added.
Paridhi enjoyed every bit of her visit in Bhopal and visited the local markets including the Chowk Bazaar where she picked up attractive footwear made by the local craftsmen and also had the local cuisine.
Patiala Babes is an ode to all the mothers and Sony Entertainment Television celebrated this with #MaaYouCanDoIt challenge. The campaign was an instant hit, the social media savvy youngsters took the initiative to teach their mothers something that they always wanted to learn but were unable to do so.
