The natural traits of a human being were beautifully carved over the canvas by an artist duo Nitish Bhattacharjee and Shakti Rane Bhattacharjee. The painting exhibition is being put up at Rangdarshini Gallery here from Wednesday.
Organised by Rupabh series of fine arts, the exhibition will be on view till June 8. Together they have put up a series of 38 paintings at the gallery in abstract art form out of which 24 paintings are put up by Nitish and 14 by Shakti.
They have beautifully illustrated the other version of abstract art not only with the use of geometrical figures but also have given a touch of figurative art, giving the paintings a refined finishing touch with the use of combination of dull and vibrant colours wonderfully.
Their creations were highly appreciated by the viewers as they walked through the gallery. Moreover, the paintings that are presented before the visitors maintain the pristine beauty of form and colour that is to be identified and named according to visitor’s perceptions.
While talking about their paintings the duo said, “It is often seen that painters work on a particular pattern, but we wanted to do something different so, we have explained our views through different way.” Art has no boundaries and perception of an artist grows as he works upon it, they added.
Nitish further said, “It is the desire of the painter what he wants to portray no matter in what manner. It may be the scribbled lines, curls or other forms. An artist paints what comes to his mind as art will be considered art no matter what,” he added.
The highly versatile and aesthetic perception of the creations of the artist has enabled the viewers to touch most profound depths of the concept the artist duo has worked upon. The purity of style, uniqueness of imagination with brilliant technique made the creations enchanting. The crowd visited to watch the creations were spell-bounded with their attractive art work.
