'Oust parliamentarians like Maharaj, Adityanath'

Staff Reporter

If parliamentarians like Sakshi Maharaj and Yogi Adityanath are not contained, then the secular fabric of the country would be devastated.

Thus, we demand from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to terminate the membership of both these parliamentarians,” said President of Jamiat Ulama Madhya Pradesh and Mufti e Azam of MP Mufti Abdul Razzaq while addressing the media persons here on Tuesday.

Mufti Razzaq was reacting over the allegations of Sakshi Maharaj on Madrasas and Yogi Adityanath’s allegations against Muslims on the issue of love Jihad.

“There is unrest among the Muslims of the country over BJP MPs allegations that all the Madrasas are fort of terrorisms and the terrorists are prepared in them and that tri-colour is not hoisted over the Madrasas. All these allegations are baseless and bundle of lies miles away from truth that is contrary to it,” Mufti Razzaq said.

Mufti Razzaq further said that the hatred mongers like Yogi and Maharaj want to defame the Madrasas for their own political benefits and in the process are destabilising the peace of the country. Such persons should be banned and legal action should also be initiated against them, so that in future no one else could dare to follow their path, he added. Replying to the query over the issue of love jihad, the senior cleric who runs one of the oldest and largest Madrasa  of the State capital said that there is no such word in the dictionary of Islam.

This word is invented by the RSS only to defame Islam and to spread hatred in the country.“No Madrasa in the world preaches hatred; only messages of love, brotherhood and humanity are taught in the Madrasas across the world. It is the RSS, VHP and likes that preach hatred and teaches terrorism in the schools run by them,” he added.
