Gross negligence of district police has emerged in case of woman who sustained 108 stitches after she was attacked with sharp-edged weapons on opposing teasing and molestation by miscreants in TT Nagar area on June 9.
Police have taken matters with negligence as even after serious crime committed by the miscreants sections with very meagre punishment have been imposed.
The victim Seema Solanki opposed teasing and passing lewd comments by three youths in auto rickshaw and when she used hard words, they started abuse and tried to scuffle with her on which she slapped one of the miscreants after which locals gathered forcing the three to escape.
Victim left with her husband on bike and after covering some distance she was attacked by a sharp edged weapons by miscreants. She was drenched in blood and was rushed to hospital.
The attackers attacked, injuring her from head till neck in the face with her right eyebrow damaging severely , she is not able to open her eyes properly.
Victim claimed that is not acquainted with the miscreants and they made a mistake, they should be punished. She has three children and said that didn't get any help from the police.
The accused should be given such punishment that they would never repeat the crime of such nature.
