Opp leader slams Govt for administrative failure

Staff Reporter

The State has become state of dead bodies instead of golden State as people are killed and burnt as it has become a state of lawlessness”, said leader of Oppostion in the State assembly Ajay Singh.

He was referring to the deaths occurred in fire which broke out in a factory at Balaghat .

After Petalawad incident, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that such incidents would be averted but within 18 months, incident of same nature occurred at Balaghat taking 30 lives.

The Chief Minister shirks responsibility by shedding crocodile tears by and announcing compensation for the victims.

Single member Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Retired Justice Ayendra Kumar Saxena was formed after the incident which was asked to submit report in three months. The Chief Minster could reveal the findings but same nature of incident took place in Balaghat which shows that lives of people of the state have no value for the Chief Minsiter as nothing has been learnt from the Petalawad incident.

Who would check that 100 quintals of gun powder was kept without procuring permissionIJ The morale of administration and government is down due to behavior of Chief Minister and which has led to the current situation.

Pointing to the current farmer protest which turned massive and violent he said that it could not be more embarrassing for a home minister of state that his officers have provided misleading information and all this is happening in a state which the Chief Minister claims to the best state in the world. The cabinet is not able to manage the administration.

Singh said that the lack of administrative capabilities, tall and fake claims by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his ministers has led to the protest by the farmers in the state.

Home Minister Bhupendra Singh has given three different versions in the past three days which show  lack of hold on  administration.
