Only 445 houses of South TT Nagar taken from BDA will be evacuated for redensification project. In notices regarding evacuation of houses, Directorate of Estates has asked allottees to apply for alterative houses.
Deputy Secretary Home Ajay Sharma informed that Directorate of Estates has issued no notice of evacuation of 800 houses.
There is no mention of one-month time-limit for evacuating houses in the notices served to allottees. It is not an eviction notice. All these houses are meant for redensification project and have nothing to do with Smart City Project.
