A 28-year-old youth died while another escaped with injuries after their motorbike was hit by a speeding car in Bilkharia in the evening on Sunday; Bilkharia police have started investigation.
According to the police, two injured man who were severely injured after their motorbike was hit by a speeding truck were rushed to hospital where one of them was declared dead while one escaped with injuries.
The deceased was identified as Mukesh Shirke while his friend escaped with injuries. Police said that the injured has sustained multiple injuries and his condition is critical.Police said that the accident took place when Mukesh and his friend were hit head on by the car which the driver escaped with later.The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation to search the errant truck driver who escaped with the car.The accident took place at around 9 in the night and on the receipt of the information police team rushed to the spot and took the injured to hospital.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.Details of the car are yet to be found and CCTV cameras installed in the nearby areas and toll plaza would be checked in the further investigation.
Injured youth in the accident was not in a position to record his statements, said police. The car was moving at high speed and failed to control and hit the bike which proved fatal for Mukesh who died on the spot.
