The National Test Agency (NTA) has postponed the National Eligibility Test (NET) registration dates. It is to be noted that the NTA has postponed the NET exams for the third time. This time the registration date has been extended till June 15.
NTA stated in its official notification that “In view of many requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to COVID-19, the National Testing Agency has further extended the last dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various Examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency”. As per the official notification, the detailed schedule mentioning revised dates of downloading of Admit Cards and of Examination will be displayed separately on respective examination website and www.nta.ac.in later on.
It is to be noted that coronavirus pandemic has postponed entire academic calendar by at least a month.The University Grants Commission (UGC) had informed that it is aiming at starting new academic session by September 1. The admission process is likely to start by August.
