PNS

In order to check the growing crimes on the trains, the railway police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) would step up patrolling and keep a watch on more than a dozen trains passing through Jhansi division. The joint team of GRP and RPF would provide security to the passengers from Gwalior to Bina and from Gwalior to Tughlakabad. This decision was taken in the meeting of RPF and GRP officers on Monday in Gwalior. It was decided in the meeting that GRP and RPF jawans would conduct combing patrol in a dozen trains passing from Gwalior at night and provide security to the passengers.

This new arrangement would be enforced from Wednesday night. At night, GT, Malwa, Southern, Heerakund, Tamilnadu, Punjabmail, Chhattisgarh, Intercity, Sridham, AP and Bhopal Express arrive at Gwalior railway station. The GRP and RPF would conduct combing patrol to provide security to the passengers. If any incident takes place with the passengers during the travel, they can inform the GRP on the mobile application started in the whole country.
