A new chapter has been added to industrial revolution of the State on Thursday, as the Central Region Power Distribution Company has started giving high tension power connections online. Such consumers will not have to do rounds of company’s offices. Now, these connections will be given only online to applicants wishing to set up industries. The company launched its portal for online applications www.mpcz.in/nsc on Thursday.
From Thursday onwards, applications for high tension power connections will be received only online. A software has been developed for this. Through online system, consumers will get high tension connections early and transparently. The company has about 1,700 high tension consumers.
Online registration of applications will be made on mpcz.in/nsc.
Immediately after it, applicant will be provided password through e-mail and SMS on mobile.
Meanwhile, official sources informed that number of domestic electricity consumers has increased in Madhya Pradesh by over one lakh during first quarter of current fiscal. With this, the number of all category electricity consumers in the state has risen to 1.16 crore.
At present, 15,000 MW electricity is available in the state. All domestic consumers in the state are being supplied power 24X7 and agriculture consumers minimum 10 hours a day.
Eastern Region Power Distribution Company has chalked out a list for recovery of electricity dues from 1200 big defaulters. Dues of `1.80 crore will be recovered from defaulters. During campaign for recovery of outstanding dues, properties of 147 defaulters were attached.
