Anuj Sharma was in Bhopal on Thursday to give an enchanting performance before the Bhopalites. A cultural evening Aradhana was organised at Dushyant Kumar Memorial Museum of Manuscript here on Thursday wherein Anuj presented a great show before the music lovers of the city.
Organised by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), a noted devotional singer from Ujjain Anuj Sharma gave a performance under the event. Notably, Anuj Sharma performed along with his troupe in the concert. He is a noted and a talented devotional singer of the country.
While talking to The Pioneer, Anuj said, “It is believed today that people do not have interest in devotional singing, but it is not true. Classical and devotional music are those genres which are like a strong base to music. A lot of dedication and focus is required in both of the genres.”
He began his series of performances with devotional music from Vinay Patrika. This was followed with few bhajans picked up from Tulsi’s verses on god Shankar. He then performed Mata Stuti, Hanuman and Krishna stuti as well.
He has the essence to capture the attention of the audiences he manages to maintain the interest of the audience during the concert. He left the audience totally enthralled with his melodious performance.
Anuj is into singing since her childhood and belong to a family with musical background. He has given various performances across the nation and has received a huge response from the music lovers.
Anuj further said that this is just after 20 years that he is visiting Bhopal. “This was my first show in Bhopal and so I was really excited performing it before Bhopalites.”
