The grand release of film director Vivek Agnihotri's book Lal Bahadur Shastri Mrityu Ya Hatya (Death or murder) was held at Ravindra Bhavan on Friday.

The book is the Hindi translation of Agnihotri's book Who Killed Shastri? The event was held under Rabindranath Tagore University's Vishwarang.

Medical Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh Vishwas Sarang was present as the Chief Guest, Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Santosh Choubey as its President. Film director Vivek Agnihotri, book translator Vishwas Tiwari and educationist Amitabh Saxena were present during the book launch.

On this occasion, Vishwas Sarang said, "I congratulate Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri for working tirelessly to bring out the facts. Vivek has taken the initiative to bring the revolutionaries to the fore now."

Vivek Agnihotri said that it was important to release this book in Hindi. Talking about Vishwarang he appreciated the initiative of Madhya Pradesh government to provide science and medical education in Hindi.

He further says that in Bollywood, films are made on the choice of the audience. So after a while the standard of films starts falling and they start flopping. "I decided that I would tell stories that would raise people's global level of intelligence, draw people's attention to topics or content that people often don't see. Other filmmakers keep repeating the hit formula."

Vivek also talked about his films. Santosh Choubey talked about the concept of Vishwarang.

A short film on Lal Bahadur Shastri was screened on the occasion. It included excerpts from the making of the film Tashkent Files and a popular speech by Lal Bahadur.

Along with this, a quiz session was organized for the audience in which many questions related to the life of Lal Bahadur Shastri were asked by RJ Anuj.
