Bhopal Collector has issued new timings for all schools, government and private, in Bhopal due to the heatwave. The Collector of Bhopal, Avinash Lavania has issued an official order and instructed all government and private schools to shift to the new timings stated due to the heat wave warning issued by the Indian Meteorological Department, IMD.
The official order states that all government and private schools in the district will operate from 7 am and 12 noon only. The decision comes after a heatwave warning was issued by the Meteorological Department.
While the timings for schools have been changed, the examination timings remain the same.
Following the order issued in Bhopal, schools in Jabalpur, Indore, Narmadapuram have also been changed accordingly.
