The adherent flower lovers had a close view of new varieties of Chrysanthemums at the flower show ‘Guldaudi 2017’ that concluded here on Sunday.
The fragrance of the various kinds of Chrysanthemums stole the show and added an eye pleasing effect on the concluding day. As a big crowd of the flower lovers were observed on the concluding day to watch the show, the ‘selfie’ fever of the Bhopalites was left no behind. The youngsters were seen clicking their selfies with the bloomed Chrysanthemums on Sunday morning.
Notably, the two day Chrysanthemums exhibition was jointly organized by the Madhya Pradesh Rose Society, Bhopal and Directorate of Horticulture.
Flowers of different colours and sizes were beautifully arranged in the vases giving an immense pleasure to the spectators to watch number of varieties at the garden. Captivating the attention of the gardening lovers the show exhibited around 1200 earthen pots of Chrysanthemums.
The Bhopalites experienced a beautiful world of flowers around them where they could not only have a look at the flowers but, also buy them for their homes or offices. Snowball, Tata White, Cactus flower, Spoon and other varieties in yellow, pink, golden, purple and other vibrant colours attracted the people most.
Notably, on the second day, atleast 88 varieties were among first position and 88 were in second position. The owners of the flowers were felicitated on the concluding day.
Chrysanthemum is among the most vibrant colored fall perennial plants. It can be of varied color type or size like white, pink, yellow, lavender, bronze, salmon, orange, or red. These petals of the flower can be either single or in daisy form.
These flowers blossoms from mid November to January, that is why festival is organized in the month of December as it is the best time of the year to see these flowers.
