Auqaf-e-Shahi (Waqf), Bhopal has made arrangement of a new building for the coming Haj 2017 pilgrimage at Makkah Mukarramah Rubaat. This would accommodate 300 Haj pilgrims from Bhopal and permission for increased number has been received by
Auqaf –e-Shahi (Royal Waqf property).
lottery for the stay facility at Makkah Mukarramah Rubaat during Haj 2017 would be conducted after Eid- ul-Fitr celebrations.
The new arrangements have been made possible with hectic efforts of Muttawalli (Custodian) Saba Sultan and Executive Committee. Staying facility of all Haj pilgrims from Bhopal is at Medina Munawara.
The new building was purchased in Aziziya district of Makkah Mukarramah with the funds of Auqaf-e-Shashi that was with Qazi Makkah for past 15 years. This building was purchased in the name of Auqaf –e-Shahi and this year one commercial complex has been purchased in the same name.
Executive member of Auqaf –e-Shahi and Personal Advisor of Muttawalli (custodian), Sikander Hafiz Khan said that in the next five years such an arrangement would be made that all the pilgrims from Bhopal could be provided with staying facility during Haj.
