Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Bhopal in collaboration with Indian National Confederation and Academy of Anthropologists INCAA organized a three-day national conference of Indian Anthropologists Congress on the subject of Anthropology in the Service of the Nation is being organized from 21st February 21 to 23, 2024.
About 150 anthropologists from across the country are participating in this conference. Indian National Federation of Anthropologists and Academy of Sciences (INCAA) It is the top organization located in Kadam Kanon Jhargram West Bengal since 2004 has been promoting ethical anthropological practices in India to the people associated with the subject of anthropology and to the anthropologists of the country who have started increasing anthropological knowledge engaged in supporting them and promoting networking At present, it has about 211 founding members, 709 life members and 6 institutional members representing almost all the States/Union Territories of the country. Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is engaged in strengthening national unity by depicting the story of mankind across time and place.
The program will start on 21st February at 10.30 am in the Amphitheater located in the Veethi sankul of the Museum. In which the welcome address will be given by Professor Shubho Roy, Member Secretary of INCAA the key note address will be given by Prof. Amitabh Pandey and the presidential address will be given by Professor KK Basa President of INCAA After the completion of the inauguration ceremony, Professor BM Das Memorial Lecture will be organized from 11.30 am. Professor MC Arun Kumar of Manipur University will deliver a lecture on India's Borderlands: An Anthropological Overview.
The program will be presided over by INCAA President Professor KK Basa. In the afternoon there will be a round table conference on “India's Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage and Anthropology: Conservation Technology and Methodology”After that all the scholars will visit and observe the exhibitions of the museum.
