Former Chief Minister and State Congress President Kamal Nath has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the recruitment of primary teachers. In this he has said that the primary teacher recruitment exam is being conducted arbitrarily. In the ongoing advertisement of the examination, the real demands of the unemployed youth of the state are being sidelined. In the letter, he has urged to consider the just demands of the youth and find a proper solution for them.
However, two days earlier in the fourth edition of "Anugoonj" organised at Government Subhash School of Excellence, Bhopal, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had declared that the government is going to recruit 50 thousand teachers in the state. Kamal Nath said in the letter that more than one lakh posts are vacant in the state, but in this examination a total of 18 thousand posts of primary teachers are only being recruited.
In this, 10 thousand posts are being recruited as backlog recruitment and 8 thousand posts for the remaining. On the other hand, apart from the backlog, the unemployed youth of the state are demanding recruitment to 51,000 posts which should be resolved in a just way.
Kamal Nath said that due to vacant posts of teachers in primary schools in Madhya Pradesh, the numbers of single teacher schools are more. The teacher-student ratio in the state is also not according to the national standard, due to the above reasons, quality education in the state is being adversely affected, the loss of which will ultimately be suffered by future generations.
Kamal Nath said that at present the level of unemployment in the country and the state is very worrisome, due to unemployment the youth are frustrated and agitated and for this reason it is necessary to recruit more and more posts to promote employment. He wrote in the letter that in the above circumstances, the demand regarding the recruitment of the youth seems appropriate.
