The meeting of Nagar Suraksha Samiti would be held at beat level to connect with the citizens from February 1. In the meeting, police station in-charge, beat in-charge and beat convener would remain present, said DIG Bhopal Dharmendra Choudhary during meeting of police officials on Saturday.
The squares of old and new city areas with heavy traffic load and witness frequent traffic blockages should be handled in coordination with the concerned police station with the traffic police.
Senior police officers should visit duty points and busy squares to check the traffic arrangements and take necessary step for properly managing the traffic by briefing the police personnel.
Proper arrangement of staff should be made near the points of congestion of marriage halls. The citizens should be handled sensibly and sensitively during vehicle checking.
DIG Choudhary made clear instructions to take strict action against goons, externs, NSA accused and criminals imposed with other prohibitory actions. Those who have been charged with different acts should be kept under radar to avoid untoward action.
With the reformation of Nagar Suraksha Samiti connect would be developed with the masses and direct communication with the police would be developed and would also help at the time of processions, festivals and other important events in the city.
The Shakti squad is aimed to boost confidence among woman and girls and increase confidence of self defense among them.
The squad will help girls and woman at sensitive places and would take action against eve teasers and miscreants.
