As a part of this programme NABARD is organising financial literacy awareness programmes in 500 districts all over India covering about 50,000 rural people in the second week of July 2015.

Thirty-five of these financial literacy awareness programmes are being held across Madhya Pradesh at block / village level from July 10 to 12. During this period awareness will be created among rural people about the benefits of social security schemes - Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna, recently launched by GOI. NABARD has involved the District administration, banks, Govt. departments, insurance agencies, NGOs and other partners to make these programmes more effective. The camps will also facilitate enrolment of eligible persons under the social security schemes. This initiative of NABARD will give desired fillip to the movement.
