The legendary singer of Bollywood Kishore Kumar was remembered on his birthday with a melodious musical night Yeh Shaam Mastani. A musical concert was organised at Ravindra Bhavan here on Sunday
A well known singer Ravindra Shinde of Mumbai gave tribute to legendry singer of Bollywood Kishore Kumar. He performed in a musical night Yeh Shaam Mastani.
This programme was organised by the Directorate of Culture.
It is to be noted on the occasion of the birthday of Kishore Kumar in Bhopal for the last two years, the programme has been started with the objective to encourage and bring to light the talented artists who will sing the tracks of Kishore Kumar. Generally, this tradition has been established with the intention of providing a better forum and environment for artists engaged in the continuous smooth music through orchestra.
Ravindra Shinde along with playback singers Amrita Natu and Aparna Nagarkatti performed beautifully at the show. This orchestra is the attraction of this time with almost eighteen musicians.
The singers performed as many as 30 solo and duet songs of Kishire Kumar leaving thr audience mesnerised. The event began with the famous track 'Yeh Shaam Mastani'. The concert was much enjoyed by the audiences and many people took the pleasure to go back in the old times. The audiences were awestruck by the performance of the artists.
The songs took the audiences back in the era of black and white movies. There were songs like Phoolon ke rang se, Ek Ajnabi Haseena, Chudi nahi ye and many more presented on the show.
