The State-level sports meet 2015 ‘Muqabla’ began here from Monday. During the four -day sports meet, the students will enjoy all the sports activities.
The State-level sports meet began here at Patel group of institutions campus. The chairperson of the group Priti Patel, vice chairman Ajit Singh Patel and director of the Group Gyanendra Singh were present as chief guests on the occasion. Also Anil Goel was present as the guest of honour.
While interacting with the students Goel said that it is important to be active in sports as well as in studies. He said that it is equally important for mind development. He also wished luck to all the participants of the State level sports meet.
Notably, colleges like lNCT, AISECT University and other colleges from across the state have participated in the sports meet.
It is also noteworthy that spoets like Carrom, Chess, pool games, table tennis, badminton will be held in indoor games. Also the outdoor games includes, cricket, slow bike race, kho-kho, basket ball, football, volleyball, as many as 13 games are included.
On the first day of the sports meet, cricket match and football match was held. The first match of cricket was held between PIT (civil) and PCST (mechanical) was held. The match was won by PCST College. The second match was held between Patel Group of Institution and PCST in which Patel group of institutions won the match.
Further, the match of football was held between lNCT College and Patel group of institutions in which Patel group won the match. later, the second match was held between AISECT University and Enormous in which enormous won the match.
