MPPSC rejects Cong's allegations over CM's niece's recruitment

SR

After over one week when the Congress had raised the issue of recruitment of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s relative in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), the Commission on Wednesday came out with a clarification.

The MPPSC has set aside all the allegations of the Opposition Congress over the selection of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s niece Ritu Chouhan.

MPPSC termed the selection of Ritu Chouhan as correct and as per law. Ritu is at present ADM in Bhopal. MPPSC making public documents on its website claimed that the selection of chief minister’s niece was correct. The Commission has placed all the documents of Ritu Chouhan including her caste certificate in its website, stating that complete transparency is maintained in the recruitment process in the MPPSC. Notably, leader of opposition in the state assembly Satyadev Katare raised questions over the selection of Ritu last days in a press conference and have released some related documents in support of his allegations.
