Right To Information (RTI) and social activist from the State capital Ajay Dubey demanded immediate removal of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) Chairman Ashok Pandey and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe of all the activities of the Commission.
Dubey in a statement here on Thursday said, “Documents obtained through RTI reveal that large scale irregularities prevail in MPPSC and for this the criminal negligence of General Administration Department (GAD) of the MP Government is also responsible.”
Dubey further said that the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed honesty of his government in the assembly on Wednesday and termed the then Congress regimes corrupt but remained mum over our revelation on the appointment of MPPSC’s the then chairman Pradeep Joshi on the recommendation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak.
He said that the documents obtained by us through RTI have made many sensational revelations in which we need answers from the state government and demand CBI enquiry. MPPSC chairman Ashok Pandey did not followed government orders to end the long term deputation of Controller Shrikrishna Sharma and kept him in the commission till last week. Surprisingly he requested the government to keep Sharma in the commission for imposing many sensitive works to him including valuation of State Administrative Services 2012 exams and to conduct the examination of Ayurvedic doctors’ 2013 examination, he added.
He said that the STF is doing enquiry of Sharma’s role in this type of cases besides the miscreants arrested by Delhi crime branch also leaked the papers of these examinations. Why Pandey want to keep the tainted Sharma in the commission, he questioned.He said that the Higher Education Department and GAD succumbing to the pressure of Chairman issued orders to cancel the order for the cancellation of tainted Sharma’s deputation. Under what and whose pressure tainted and unfit for the post Sharma was kept for long in the commission, he added.
The RTI activist alleged that it was due to the unconstitutional political interference and irregularities in the commission lost its credibility and future of lakhs of youths was blackened. Hence immediate CBI probe should be ordered and chairman Pandey should immediately be removed.
