The newly appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Arun Yadav has started drill to constitute his team. In the process, he is looking for experienced and loyal leaders and for that he is contacting friends and loyalists of his late father Subhash Yadav.
The move of the PCC chief has raised hopes that senior and experienced leaders would be placed on the responsible posts of the state Congress organisation. But a section of the party has already started calling that the new state chief is going to form an Uncle Team.
Over ten days have passed since the former union minister of state Arun Yadav was named as the new State Congress chief. Hectic lobbying has been started in the state for getting birth in the new team. Though the outgoing body is working but as per the norms of the Congress as soon as the new state Congress chief is appointed the old state executive automatically gets dissolved.
Despite this all the office bearers of the outgoing body are using their post and the newly appointed state chief is also not daring to announce that the old body has been dissolved.
Though in the mean time Yadav has started exercise for the formation of his new team. Sources close to him informed that he is in contact with the leaders who were holding important responsibilities in his late father’s tenure as the PCC chief. These leaders could again be given important responsibilities.
Sources from the Congress informed that Yadav does not have any experience of running party organisation and hence he does not have any option but to depend on the loyalists and friends of his late father.
