The Jashne Azadi Mushaira was organized on Monday under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava. It was organised by the Department of Culture, Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, Sanskriti Parishad.
The Mushaira was broadcasted live on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy.
In the beginning of the programme Nusrat Mehdi, Director of the Academy said that at this time the country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of its independence. Culture Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh is also celebrating this festival with enthusiasm.
Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy's programme "Jashne Azadi Mushaira" is also a linked in the same sequence. Today's Mushaira is dedicated to the revolutionary immortal martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting for the country.
In the Mushaira, the poets also presented some other compositions along with Asar who promoted patriotism and social unity and harmony.
Poet Zafar Sahbai recited poemHo charagah ki subah azaadi, Roshni Ka payam laayi. Farooq Anjum recited Main hoon bharat jaane kitni tehzeebon ka gehwara. Ismat Zaidi ShifaTane duniya diye galibo mironAe Miri Khakee Watan Ae Miri Khakee Watan.
At the programme, the transparency of literature was visible as poets recited the poems on patriotism. The literature lovers took pleasure of the creations of some of the poets for their tremendous contribution in mounting up the literature among people.At the end of the programme Nusrat Mehdi, Director of the Academy thanked all the audience. Nusrat Mehdi also conducted the program successfully.
