Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh will be pioneer State in Ease of Doing Business. Madhya Pradesh is the first state of the country to formulate defence production manufacturing and semiconductor fab policies. The Chief Minister was addressing a 2-day national workshop of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India here on Sunday. Revenue Minister Rampal Singh was specially present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that chartered accountants’ role is crucial in formulation of fiscal policies. They should extend positive contribution in the development of state and country. Taxation process should be simple. Chartered accountants should give benefit of education to society through their experience. He said that role of Madhya Pradesh is vital in country’s development. The state is maintaining growth rate in double digits for last 7 years. Madhya Pradesh’s agriculture growth rate is highest in the country. Now, business and industries are also being promoted along with agriculture in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Madhya Pradesh is the favoured destination of investors. GST will play important role in development of business and industries.
National President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Manoj Fadnis said that his institution will help the state government in holding training programmes on GST. Anuj Goyal and Deepak Jain also spoke on the occasion. The Chief Minister also released Chartered Accountants Directory.
Mukesh Kushwaha, Abhay Chhajed, Navneet Garg, S Krishnan and chartered accountants from all over the country attended the workshop.
