Taking stern action on the administration and police officers that were suspected to have worked in favour of the BJP in State assembly elections, the State Government on Tuesday shifted Rewa Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Chhindwara.
Commissioner of Rewa Mahesh Chandra Chowdhary has been posted as Officer on Special Duty at Mantralaya by the State Government. The Commissioner JK Jain of Shahdol division has been entrusted with additional charge of Rewa division. Order in this connection has been issued by the General Administration department on Tuesday. The State Government has posted Manoj Rai as Superintendent of Police Chhindwara. He is currently posted as Superintendent of Police Rail, Bhopal. New posting of the shifted Superintendent of Police Chhindwara, Atul Singh is expected shortly.
