Staff Reporter

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) minority cell state president Hidayatullah Sheikh said that the victory of the party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from Varanasi would have many meanings.

Sheikh in a statement here on Monday said that the victory of Modi from Varanasi would also awaken the torch-bearers of secularism and they would come to know that in democracy the electorate is free to express its liking. A few people could not drive away the whole communities, he added. Sheikh further said that in the present times the Muslims of the country have also become aware with the fact that the condition of their community is very backward and it could not move on the path of development because of the only reason that it was stopped from becoming part of mainstream of the country.

The Muslims were forced to live in fear. On the contrary, the fact is that if the Muslims of the country is strong and prosperous in any part of the country, it is Gujarat state that is ruled by the BJP, he added. He said that Muslims now understand that if they are backward then it is they who need most the change and development and Narendra Modi has emerged as the messiah of change and development. The Muslim youth after getting educated understands the circumstances of the country well and large number of them has voted in favour of the BJP to make Modi the next prime minister with the sole aim of change and development for the community, he added.

He said that the fact is that Modi is need of the time, he need not to be feared instead it is the time to increase closeness with him, and the Muslims need to understand this fact.

On becoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be the representative of all castes and religions,he added.
