The Bharatiya Janata Party has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first year rule at the Centre has met the expectations of the people. BJP national vice-president and organisational in-charge for Madhya Pradesh Vinay Sahasrabuddhe while talking to mediapersons in Jabalpur on Tuesday said, “In just one year rule of the BJP at the Centre the wholesale price index has come down and the use of word corruption has also reduced. Brokers have been eradicated from the power galleries. Modi Government has made the spirit of ‘Sabka saath sabka vikas’ (company of all, development of all) and Team India meaningful.”
Sahasrabuddhe further said, “Challenges exit and we would face them. As long as Congress’ allegation over black money that the Modi Government failed over it is completely wrong. It was Congress whose intents were wrong as it did not constitute the SIT despite Supreme Court order. Our commitment for bringing back black money could not be doubted. We are moving ahead on this issue despite tied up with international treaties we are making all out efforts and success is very near.”
He said that efforts were on to develop spirit of Team India between States and Centre because it was the belief of BJP that the nation could not strengthen unless and until its states are not strong. Prime Minister Modi started three schemes recently to add the common man with the economy to make them financially strong, he added.
The BJP leader answering a query over GST said that BJP never opposed it, they were of the view that consensus be built over it with the States. He claimed that the NDA Government succeeded on all fronts and the people were having rocket high expectations with it, because the people knew that BJP made concept based efforts and assured that the happiness of people is BJP’s commitment.
