Miscreants targeted goods at under-construction Metro site and construction goods worth lakhs of rupees were burgled from DRM office area, under Baghsewania police station, police have started investigation in the case.
The complainant Manish Sharma, who works as Supervisor with Dilip Buildcon, lodged a complaint with the police that in the morning after construction goods were found burgled.
The complainant in his complaint stated that in the morning on Saturday goods were found burgled. In the evening on Friday after the work goods were kept at the site and in the morning when the work resumed goods were found stolen.
Staff searched for the goods and when they failed to find the goods they informed senior officials and complaint was lodged with the police.
There are security measures of the company at the site still burglary was committed raises suspicion that insiders are involved. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
The burglars escaped with grinding machine, support jacks, joints, ladder pipe and heavy iron bars worth lakhs of rupees were burgled. In his complaint victim stated that late in the night goods were at the site but by morning they were burgled. Any CCTV camera near the site would be investigated and would help investigation.
