Miscreants targeted the house of an RTO agent at Gopal Nagar and escaped with valuables worth Rs 3 lakh on Friday. The Piplani police has started investigation.
Police said that the victim, Badal Kumar Jain, had gone to Ashoka Garden with his family to take care of his ailing mother and when he returned on Friday the house was found ransacked.
A complaint was lodged with the police by the victim in which the victim stated he is a resident of Gopal Nagar that his mother was suffering from illness who lives in Ashoka Garden and when he returned, the door of the house was open and on entering, the valuables were found burgled.
In the incident, gold chain and gold finger ring and other valuables were burgled. The total loss in the burglary is around Rs 3 lakh.
Miscreants broke the lock and escaped with the valuables which suggest that the miscreants were aware of the whereabouts of the victim.
The almirah having valuables were found broken.
Domestic help and security guards would be questioned in the further investigation.
