The Sehore police have successfully nabbed three miscreants involved in the killing of an auto rickshaw driver on Sunday. An auto rickshaw was recovered from the miscreants.
Earlier on April 5 the victim Sanjay Sahu was found dead at Dahota Ghat near Shahganj. During the investigation Rajnarayan Meena and Vinod lohvanshi were detained and questioned. The two confirmed the killing and told that they planned to sell the auto rickshaw after killing Sanjay. They also provided information about Neeraj Vishwakarma who hired the auto for carrying goods.
The nabbed miscreants told that according to the plan Neeraj would hire an auto rickshaw from Mandideep bus stand and after travelling for few kilometers Rajnarayan and Vinod would board the auto rickshaw.
After which the three would take the auto rickshaw to a secluded place, kill him and would dump the body.
The Shahganj police have confirmed that the third accused Neeraj is still absconding but will be nabbed during the further investigation. The three accused are involved in the thefts and robberies but the reason of stealing auto rickshaw remains unclear as it is possible that they wanted to earn by selling the auto rickshaw or they might use for criminal activities.
