Minority cell revolts, all is not well in AAP's MP unit

All is not well in the Madhya Pradesh unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that is striving hard to make its presence felt in the State. The minority cell of the party has revolted against party’s decision of suspending Okhala’s MlA Amanatullah Khan.

AAP – Bhopal district (minority) convener Syed Abid Husain has made several posts on the social networking facebook targeting party leadership over the decision and senior party leader and poet Kumar Vishwas.

Husain while talking to The Pioneer over the issue said, “I am against the decision of the party as it has punished Amanatullah Khan and did not take any action against Kumar Vishwas. I am openly supporting Khan and do not have any fear of party action if any is taken against me. The maximum they could do is that they would show me the door, but I would continue my crusade against the leadership’s injustice meted out with Khan.”

AAP state convener Alok Agarwal when told about the social media posts of Husain and was asked that what action would be taken against him replied, “I am leading the Kisan Yatra and out of Bhopal, moreover I have not seen the posts of Husain, will decide on him once I see the posts made by him.”

However, Husain continuing his defiant posture said, “Not only on the social media I have made posts on the official AAP group on whatsapp and the state convener is aware with them as he has read them besides being told about them by others.

Husain also alleged that state convener Alok Agarwal is collecting sacks of wheat from the farmers during Kisan Yatra as donation and asked that by which right is he taking that wheat and how would he show that in party’s audit.

Notably, the cold war is going on among the top AAP leaders since few months due to that all those seniors who were instrumental in the party since its launch in the state have either been sidelined by the present leadership or have become inactive.

Though, none of them has agreed to come on record against the state leadership but almost all of them echoed similar views that unhappy with the working style of state convener they have gone inactive.
