In a shocking incident a minor girl was kidnapped and was sexually assaulted by holding her captive for nine days at a secluded village.
According to the police on September 9 the victim was kidnapped by the accused Hafiz (20) who took her to his village and held her captive during which he raped her several times and on Tuesday when the victim finally escaped and reached her house the matter was informed to the family and police.
After the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 376, 363 and 506 of IPC and section 3 and 4 under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
Earlier on September 9, the victim who is a resident of Jinsi square went missing under suspicious circumstances. Unaware of the kidnap the family members lodged a missing complaint with the Jehangirabad police.
After 9 days on Tuesday, she returned home and narrated the sufferings she faced in the last few days to the family members and provided information about the accused Hafiz who took her with evil intentions.
Victim has also confirmed that the accused has threatened her of life and warned her not to disclose the incident to the family and police. Following the complaint, the offender Hafiz was arrested and was produced in the court on Wednesday.
