On the instruction of Mhow SDM Akshat Jain who is also the administrator of Mhow gaon nagar panchayat presently, the 15 years old encroachment on the government land has been removed.
Mohan Lal Prajapati has encroached around 2000 square feet of land in Prajapati colony Dharnaka Mhow and has constructed house and shops on the government land for 15 years.
Due to this encroachment the traffic was also being disturbed, thus causing a problem to the daily commuters and movement of vehicles on this road.
In the year 2017 the High Court Indore bench had also passed the order that Mohan Lal Prajapati has encroached the government land and Mhow gaon nagar panchayat administration has full authority to remove the encroachment.
After this order of the High CourtMhow gaon nagar panchayat issued several notices to the encroacher Mohan Lal Prajapati to remove the encroachment, but still recently, the encroacher Mohan Lal Prajapati had not removed the encroachment.
Hence, the Mhow gaon nagar panchayat staff, police force and revenue staff jointly removed the encroachment of Mohan Lal Prajapati. The market value of the government land freed from the encroachment is rs 50 lakhs.
It is to be noted that the previous SDM's also tried to remove the encroachment but the encroacher Mohan Lal Prajapati used to appeal in different courts here and there and brought stay on the encroached land.
