The 34th meeting of Town Official language Implementation Committee was held here on Sunday at Doorsanchar premises in association with Madhya Pradesh Doorsanchar, Bhopal and the State Trading Corporation of India limited.
On this occasion, AMV Yugandhar, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal and President, TOlIC was present as the Chief Guest. Around 37 Department head and 50 representatives from various public sector undertakings participated in the meeting.
Addressing the gathering Yugandhar said that the present time is of changes and things are changing at a very fast pace. To implement the changes in the usage of the language, the change must be graciously implemented.
The time is of social communication platforms as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and other social networking platforms.
The Government is aggressively giving a push for the promotion & propagation of the Hindi language, said Yugandhar.
On this occasion, RajbhasaVyjayanti Shield for the year 2015-16 were also given. Housing and Urban Development Corporation limited won the First prize, The New India Assurance Company limited- Second Prize, life Insurance Corporation of India limited- Third Prize, Airport Authority of India- Consolation and United India Insurance Company limited won the Rajbhasa (official language) shield.
