Meerut police have arrested a women’s gang of MP who robbed by attending weddings, gang used to go to big weddings wearing expensive clothes and would escape with jewelry and expensive goods from the venues.
For the last one year, this gang has been stealing at weddings. Police station Kankarkheda of Meerut has caught 3 members of a women gang.
During interrogation, the three women gave their address as Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. Wearing expensive clothes, this woman used to steal by entering weddings.
During the interrogation of the police, the gang said that they used to enter weddings wearing stylish dresses. Seeing their jewellery, clothes, no one would doubt them. Sometimes they introduce from the bride's side, sometimes from the groom's side, they would take entry in marriages by telling themselves. First, she would fly the feast and seeing the opportunity, she would take away the jewelery and other valuables.
Among the three women arrested by the police, Rano resident of Gulkhedi Rajgarh Madhya Pradesh, Akshita resident of Gulkhedi, Manisha resident Gulkhedi. Police have found stolen money and goods from the three women.
This gang got caught by the police on Devotthan Ekadashi. On Devotthan Ekadashi, there is an auspicious time for marriages. There were more than 1 thousand marriages in the city. All the hotels in the bypass including the marriage mandaps were booked. Such Muhurtas are best for this robbery gang. The three women were roaming around with the intention of stealing. On information Kankarkheda police reached and caught them. Stolen goods, money were also found with the women.
Stealing for a year
CO Daurala Abhishek Patel said that 3 women were found roaming suspiciously near Khirwa Road Grand Opera Pavilion in police station Kankarkhera area. On information, the station in-charge reached there with the police. The women were caught, during interrogation, the women told that they used to enter weddings wearing expensive clothes. The bride and groom used to steal in marriages by telling themselves from the side.
All three women are residents of Rajgarh in MP. The police were already looking for them. A case is already registered against them in Kankarkheda police station. During interrogation, it was told that they have been working for a year.
