Industries Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said micro, small and medium enterprises needed to be linked to business portal to give fillip to them.Scindia gave this suggestion at a meeting of Industries Ministers on e-commerce in New Delhi on Wednesday.The meeting was chaired by Union Minister of State for Industries (IC) Nirmala Sitaraman. Scindia suggested strengthening B to B through e-commerce and added name of seller must be displayed on products sold through websites. Seller should also bear responsibility of packaging and distribution. Through e-commerce, a seller can reach out his products to maximum number of people.Scindia said decision of the Centre to brining e-commerce under the ambit of Consumer Protection Act will improve consumers’ satisfaction.
