Mayor Krishna Gaur along with Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner Chandramoli Shukla and other BMC officials here on Tuesday inspected the ongoing development works being carried out in the city by BMC.
During the inspection Mayor instructed the officials concerned to carry out all the ongoing developing works maintaining the quality and finish them within time limit. Moreover, as she visited various areas of the city, the Mayor also came across the problems of the people and listened to them carefully. She further instructed the officials concerned to resolve the problems of the residents taking immediate measures.
The Mayor along with other BMC officials inspected the ongoing development works at Bagh Mughalia, Bagh Sewaniya, Arvind Bihar, Misrod, Rohit Nagar, Narendra Nagar, Barkheda Pathani, Awadhpuri, Kundan Nagar, AIIMS and nearby areas. While on her visit to respective areas, Mayor also inspected the ongoing construction of the new nullahs, repairing of the roads, and other public welfare works being carried out by BMC.
On the occasion, Mayor was also informed about the development works in details. The officials concerned informed her about the progress of the ongoing works and also the quality being maintained. She instructed the officials also to keep an eye over the citizen's security especially at construction sites and also to make proper arrangements for traffic movement there. Further, she instructed the officials to finish the remaining work within time.
On her visit to AIIMS, Mayor instructed the officials to make proper channelisation through the newly constructed nullah there and clear the area immediately. At Indrapuri she inspected the road construction and asked the officials to construct mullahs and roadcross at the area as well.
City engineer AK Nanda, health official SP Shrivastava, additional city engineer OP Bharadwaj and other BMC officials, zonal officials and sanitary in-charges were present.
