Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is necessary to wear a mask in order to prevent corona infection. Along with convincing people that everyone should wear mask, strictness is also necessary, he said. A massive public awareness campaign should be launched in the State with the cooperation of all sections. It should be publicized through all means.
Create such an environment that every person is automatically motivated to wear the mask. Also, penalty should be imposed for not wearing mask and the person should also be kept in open prison for some time.
Chouhan said that with the availability of adequate number of beds for the treatment of corona in all districts, daily information should be given to the public through media, social media etc. Also, information related to vaccination should be given.
Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state today through video conferencing. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajora were present in the meeting.
There are 20,369 active cases in Madhya Pradesh. The average positivity rate of the last 7 days of the state is 10.1 percent. Comparatively, Madhya Pradesh ranks eighth in the country in infection.
District wise review showed that 708 new cases of corona have been found in Indore, 502 in Bhopal, 205 in Jabalpur, 120 in Gwalior, 89 in Ujjain, 79 in Ratlam, 74 in Khargone, 72 in Barwani, 71 in Chhindwara, 65 in Betul, 50 in Katni. , 47 in Jhabua, 47 in Shajapur, 44 in Vidisha, 40 in Anuppur, 38 in Sagar, 37 in Neemuch, 36 in Dhar, 34 in Balaghat, 34 in Dewas, 29 in Raisen, 28 in Khandwa, 27 in Narsinghpur, 27 in Shivpuri, 25 in Guna, 25 in Shahdol and 23 in Hoshangabad.
Chouhan gave clear instructions that free treatment of every poor patient should be ensured. Give them free medical treatment on the basis of Ayushman card. Also, increase the number of beds by contracting with private hospitals where beds are vacant as per the requirement.
