A 26-year-old man who tried to commit suicide by electrocution at Vajpayee Nagar at Idgah Hills under Shahjehanabad police station area was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital on Tuesday.
The Vajpayee Nagar police outpost in charge SI Kamlesh Kumar along with other police personnel reached the spot and took leelakishan to Hamidia hospital where his condition is reportedly stable.
Police said leela took live wires and tied them in hands and raised alarm for help after which family members rushed to his rescue. He was taken to Hamidia hospital and he returned after he gained conscious. The in-charge officer contacted the family to know the condition he was told that leela was brought back home after he regained conscious. On the receipt of the information he contacted 108 ambulance.
