A man in the age group of 30-35 years died and dragged till Habibganj railway station after being hit by Nizamuddin bound Samta Express train near Misrod railway station in the morning on Thursday.
According to the police, a body was found entangled in the hooks of the engine of Samta Express which reached Habibganj railway station in the early morning hours. On the receipt of the information that a body was entangled with the Samta Express, the police recovered the body and sent for post-mortem.
Police said that at around 6.30 am after the body was spotted in the tentacles of the engine. GRP Habibganj after the preliminary investigation sent the body for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
In the initial investigation the police were not able to establish the identity of the deceased as nothing was found which could help in establishing the identity of the deceased.
The deceased hit the near Misrod and search for the details of the deceased would be searched in the nearby areas. The deceased was trying to cross the railway tracks or it was a suicide would be investigated.
Meanwhile, a youth who was found dead at railway tracks near RRl was identified on Thursday as 25-year-old Pranav Yadav of Raipur.
Bagh Sewania police said that the deceased came to the city to attend a training and was living in a rented apartment in Habibganj.
The deceased was pursuing M Tech from a private college. Police said that the deceased died accidentally or it was an suicide would be investigated.
