A driver employed with Directorate of Social Justice committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his residence in Ambedkar Nagar under Kamla Nagar police station area on Saturday.
Raju Kante was found hanging with the ceiling at his residence in the evening on Saturday and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police have not recovered suicide note which could provide the reason of the suicide. The statement of the family members are yet to be recorded which would help in the investigation.
On Saturday, the deceased committed suicide between 4 to 5 pm and was spotted hanging by his daughter who immediately informed other family member. The body was sent for the post mortem after preliminary investigation and a case under section 174 of the CrPC has been registered. Meanwhile, a vegetable seller committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his Anand Nagar residence under Piplani police station area on Saturday.
According to the police Sanjay Shukla alias Pinki (36) was found hanging at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. The deceased Sanjay Shukla alias Pinki was a habitual drinker and used to spent major part of his earning on liquor.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The post mortem report is awaited and after receiving the post mortem further details could be revealed claimed the police.
