A 31-year old woman was sexually exploited for the past three by threatening her in Gandhi Nagar area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Monday, accused continued to sexually assault even after she reported atrocity to his wife.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Musarraf Ali when she used to help victim with food as his wife had gone to Mumbai.
Shockingly when the wife returned victim reported the incident but she asked victim to help her as she used to remain ill and victim could help her by fulfilling needs of her husband.
Based on the complaint police have registered a case of sexual assault and started investigation.
Victim in her complaint said that she does private work, accused lives in her locality. Musharraf runs a Self Help Group. His wife moved to Mumbai three months ago and before leaving she asked that in her absence provide food to her husband.
On November 20, when she reached to deliver food, Musharraf closed the door from inside. After this, he raped her by intimidating. After this, threatening to defame her, he developed physical relations twice.
Police said that the accused Musharraf runs a self-help group which lends money to women. The victim has also taken a loan from him for Rs 55,000.
On February 5, he was to pay an installment of Rs 1,000. There is a dispute going on between the two regarding the matter. The police has taken the accused into custody and started further investigation.
