Kolar police has booked a man for sexually assaulting his 30-year-old sister-in-law five months ago at her house in Dholi Khadan. Police said that the accused, S Kumar, has been booked for sexually assaulting the victim who is a cousin of accused’s wife. The victim was raped at knife point when she was alone at her house.
In her complaint, the victim stated that when she was alone at her house, the accused committed the heinous crime. He also threatened her with a sharp-edged weapon.The accused also threatened her to kill if she reveals the incident to anyone. Fearing the consequences, the victim did not report the incident and the accused continued sexual exploitation.
After a few months, she reported the incident to her family and then, with the help of family members she approached police to file a complaint.
After the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC. The police has intensified the search for the accused. During the investigation, police have not found any crime record of the accused.
Meanwhile, Shahpura police booked a 35-year-old man for molesting a minor girl in Shahpura area on Monday. Police said that the accused, identified as Saudan Ahirwar, was the neighbour of victim and used to tease victim previously. On Monday, the accused entered victim’s house when she was alone and molested her.
When she raised an alert, the accused escaped. A case was registered and search for the accused has been started.
