Commission has stated that there is a scheme for providing nutritious food to the procreative through Asha workers but still a lot of procreative are dying due to anemia. State Government should make proper scheme so that the necessary checkups of the procreative could be conducted, regularly and nutritious food could be provided to the procreative. Provided nutritious food would also check the deaths of procreative due to anemia.

Notably, Commission had taken cognisance over the incident of death of a procreative due to anemia in Berasia.

Commission has recommended that it should be ensured that the anganwadi workers are providing nutritious food to the procreative. Asha workers should conduct regular checkups of the procreative, so that treatment could be provided in case of anemia.

Commission further recommended that Chief Medical and Health officers (CMHO) should keep the information of the procreative of their districts. The main reason behind anemia is that procreative are not getting the nutritious food from the anganwadis on time.
