With Indore Development Authority finally receiving tenders for its two major projects, the developmental works on the Super Corridor are expected to get a push in the coming days.
According to the IDA chairman Shankar lalwani, work on both these projects would start soon once it get nod of the IDA board of directors. The IDA had invited tenders for areawise development of its two ambitious schemes vis-a-vas Scheme No; 151 and Scheme No. 169-B located on the Super Corridor.
A total of six companies had submitted its tenders for the above-mentioned works, of which Shree Jee Infrastructure of Jabalpur has offered its lowest quote, almost 7.2 per cent less than other companies. Besides Jabalpur, one company each from Mhow, Baroda and Jaipur and two companies from Indore had submitted tenders for the above-mentioned projects entailing a cost of Rs 106 crore.
lalwani said works on these schemes on Super Corridor had got stuck since long because of delay in submission of tenders by the companies. Now since we have received tenders for these works, infrastructure works on these schemes including construction of roads, laying of water pipeline, sewarage lines, etc. would start soon after getting clearances from the IDA Board.
Talking about water supply to the TCS and the Infosys, the construction of which is going on war footing on the Super Corridor, the IDA chairman said that subsequent to tenders invited by the IDA for water supply to the TCS and the Infosys on the Super Corridor, as many as seven companies filed it's tenderss, of which tenders of Siddharth Infra of Jalgaon have been found to be the lowest among all. This company has quoted 14 per cent less rate than other companies which include Bansal Traders Mhow, International Marketing Organization Indore, Md Rafiq Messers Malwa Engineering, B R Goel Infrastructure, Siddharth Infotech Private limited Jalgaon, Sunil Chowkse Indore and Universal Hydro Structurers Private limited Chandwara respectively.
